In #Norway St.Nicolas became «#Julenissen». #Nisse is a name for a local variant of little people. They treat you well if you serve them porrige in the barn during #jul (#yuletide). The mixup was solved by turning nissene into #Santa’s servants (referred to as #elves in English).
