My DJ friend knew his crowd. In 4 hours I played this song a half-dozen times and the drunk frat boys couldn't get enough. The DJ booth was 10 feet above the long, narrow bar, and I pulled up the ladder eventually to keep them at bay. They stood below and screamed, "Play it again!"

Just got back from a week and a half vacation with my wife. We drove to Santa Fe and Durango. Saw the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, visited a handful of museums, churches and art galleries, took a train and explored Mesa Verde. The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band Show is tonight!

I've rarely missed seeing Bob Dylan live since 2002, but he didn't tour near here this year. Luckily, the Dirt Band just released a Dylan covers album, Dirt Does Dylan, so this is my way of keeping the tradition alive.

A local singer-songwriter whose work I really love, Megan Bee, is the opening act (on her birthday!) and it's so cool to see a local favorite support a long established act like this.
