Working on list of NJ Emigrants to OH & KY in the Early American Republic. Using the NJ Emigrant Register filings by descendants last century, those named create an incredible resource. 500 names identified, & I haven't finished Box 1 entries. Problem, names listed are white emigrants only. Free Blacks? List to this point does not include record of enslaved men, women, & children forced to relocate by slave owners.
