My All-Time favorite Packer was Sterling Sharpe even though he ripped my heart out in 94’ with a game-winning catch in a playoff game against the Detroit Lions. For a generation watching him as a reporter, Sterling was easily a top 4 receiver during his time, arguably #2 behind Jerry Rice. It's premature (not an overreaction) to say that the 9ers' O is better w/Purdy than Jimmy.

The 9ers got thru the playoffs to the SB w/Jimmy where they lost to KC.

But, if the 9ers get thru the playofffs & to the SB again w/Purdy & WIN, then it will be safe to say that the 9ers' O is better w/Purdy than w/Jimmy.

OTOH, I already think that the 9er's O is better w/Purdy than w/Lance. Just ck their college and pro stats. If Purdy continues to perform, I'd trade Lance.
