One day last summer while on Fogo Island I was out shooting and dark clouds moved in as I looked out over Deep Bay. In the distance, I could see sheets of rain move through the air and it made for a super moody image. Enjoy!

This idyllic renovated saltbox home is over 150 years old and overlooks Sandy Cove just outside Tilting on Fogo Island. It currently serves as an artist-in-residence and is completely booked up several years in advance. Certainly an inspiring place!

'Beacon of Hope'
As I made my way out the windy road to Cape Spear I could see the fog starting to roll in. At first I was dismayed, but I carried on. I quickly hiked up to the lighthouse but the fog had taken full grasp. No matter. I would let the lighthouse guide my way. And guide me it did. I could've packed it in and turned around but I pushed through. Never count yourself out.
