You got something utterly wrong here. I have zero say in what my instance does and whom my instance blocks. I do not pressure the moderators of my instance to do anything. I only told the #noagendasocial moderators to do their bloody job. Which they would not do.

Whoever decides to attack me with racist and homophobic slurs and tells me to go kill myself will be blocked and reported right away.
This kind of vile attacks with calls for self-harm are simply a no-go.

Since hatred for journalists and #media seems to be one of the uniting sentiments of the folks active on the #Noagendasocial instance and even one of its moderator took time to tell me so, I decided to block it entirely.
This kind of hatred based on an utter lack of media competence is spurring the spread of #fakenews and #hatred.
And yes: I blocked and muted plenty of racist and homophobic assholes again yesterday. And I will not miss any of those uncivilized trogs.

Initially I figured someone who's read my lyrics must know my stance, so when I saw their troubling pinned post I hoped I misunderstood and read up on some of their past posts and discussions, and others on their instance. But I was right to find it troubling.

I've gone and #blocked the entire #noagendasocial instance.

It seems like #NoAgendaSocial is significantly slower with my #pihole running with all the filter lists on it. If it wasn't connecting at all I'd just whitelist it. Any idea why it would be slow?

@CanaryKazjmir I didn't have to re-convert anything... never have, actually. I simply waited a few hours (likely somebody fixed a problem on the #noagendasocial instance) and the same file uploaded fine. So... no, you don't need to re-convert. This seems to happen every once in a while when there's bucket storage issues for certain kinds of uploads, for example.

I just tried uploading a short 5.5mb video from both the web abd Tusky clients and neither of then could upload videos to #NoAgendaSocial
