Moon Rabbit by Tartarus Beers. I’ve just had one sip of a 9% Imperial Stout and chucked it in favour of a low alcohol stout. Either I’ve changed, or these beers are now really good. Maybe both?

I’ve no idea how you make a 0.5% ABV beer taste this good. It’s rich, thick and bursting with coffee and vanilla flavours. You’d expect nothing less from Mash Gang, I suppose….

As it's January, I've been reading a few articles on low/no alcohol beer options. They're almost always accompanied by comments BTL about how there's no point and they all taste awful, alongside a few people suggesting that they're now much improved and you really should give them a go. My experience is that many NA beers are now fantastic, but you're wasting your breath trying to convert someone who doesn't want to be converted.

Surprised myself to have barely drank alcohol since the beginning of the year. Whereas before, it was a drink every 2nights, sometimes every night...

It's crazy how I just DON'T want to drink. No urge, no envy, not feeling to be in "a mood" for drinking. Reaching out more and more for my water bottle, because _that's what I crave_...

Will now test some non-alcohol wines and beers, to see if it would quench the "envy" for a glass when I have the urge to drink. Let's cross our fingers it does the job!

If you have recommendations for non-alcoholic wine, beer and spirits that delivers in Canada, I would be interested to know your recommendations!

Friendly reminder voor de feestende dagen dat er genoeg mensen zijn die om allerlei redenen geen alcohol drinken en dat zij 1. absoluut niet ongezellig zijn 2. geen reden hoeven op te geven waarom ze niet drinken.
