If you're primarily anglophone then the easiest are probably autistici/inventati (the #noblogs) people & #RiseUp.

a/i because they don't require a "vouch" from someone who's already in, you can explain what you want an account for & they'll accept or reject you

rise up because it's time. j/k r/u because you do need an invite to get in but if you are reading this post there is a nonzero chance that either someone already in your circles can invite you or if you ask left/progressive fedi a rando could do it

This isn't to "endorse" either service, just to reduce barriers to access.

@noyovo #noblogs uses that plugin! The site admin can configure a few things, it mostly works out of the box, except some hosts block parts of the functionality.

Wait, does the #WordPress #ActivityPub plugin already work? & is it basically like #noblogs where you can paste a post URL into search & you get an 'account' attached to the post?

Meine sehr geliebte Blog-Plattform #noblogs von Autistici/Inventati vernetzt sich mit dem Fediverse, so dass alle den #Blogs direkt folgen können.

Was mich fast dazu bringt, die friedlich vor sich hin schlafende Bloggerei wieder zu aktivieren.

Jedenfalls gibt's da jetzt rechts in der Seitenspalte neben dem Hinweis auf diesen Account auch einen ordentlichen Button, um dem Blog zu folgen.

Nel senso, io apro un sito e un altro tizio apre il suo sito e lo chiama in maniera identica al mio cambiando solo una lettera. E si può fare! Tutto così easy. Giuro non pensavo.
