Видимо для тех ботов, у которых есть глаза и они смотрят твой профиль.
Мой не смотрит в профиль, а ищет Discoverability flag перед тем как извлечь информацию с серверов. Это примерно то, что вы хотите, только через вполне легальный механизм, а не через костыль, который хотите всем навязать.

Мне долго рассказывали про то какой плохой мой бот, что "а на западе его бы забанили", чтобы проверял профили искал там #nobot.
А а все думал "да как же так? какая-то ерунда?".
И действительно, так и оказалось.
Оказывается есть вполне легитимный способ для деятельности бота.

Кстати, проверьте, включен ли он у вас? При регистрации по умолчанию включен, но в логах смотрел, у некоторых выключен, поэтому в рейтинг они не попадают.

Поскольку это нестардартизированно и каждый там пихает его как хочет. Постоянно вылезли какие-то новые косяки (ну это когда проходишь по десяткам тыс. акков).
Для меня это было очень гиморно и я плюнул на это дело.
Дайте нормальный функционал, буду обрабатывать.
И вообще это правило попахивает какой-то шизой.

С этим вашим #nobot есть определённые сложности. Это неудобно. Дайте нормальный функционал, что бы на уровне api можно с этим полем работать.
Ибо вы предлагаете какой-то костыль.

Is there a specification about the #nobot hashtag somewhere so I can look into adding it to the code? I hadn't heard of that hashtag yet. Thank you

@asm The only proper solution I see in this issue chain is to use #nobot or an explicit opt-in mechanism? I think both of those are fine, but it seems like your bot fails to do either.

What does “respecting #nobot markers” mean?

For posting frequency, is this literally per hour, or averaged over, say, 24 hours?

(I run @frontenddogma which typically posts 2x3 posts per day via IFTTT, but that, in rare cases, may post up to 25 posts in one go—but in this “bad” case also only once, for a day. I.e., this usually doesn’t but may lightly violate these rules.)

Чот по-моему у разработчика Pixelfed был какой-то сервис-каталог профилей, но по-моему он инфу не из текста профиля в основном брал.

Знаю, что есть боты, которые уважают тег #nobot там.

Но чтобы прямо официальной поддержки - такого, вроде, нет.

@apfelnutzer @toensberger Diesen #nobot Tag nutze ich auch und ich hab das Gefühl es hilft. Ansonsten blocke ich seltsame Leute recht schnell weg, die folgen dadurch dann auch nicht mehr.
