Begrüßungs-Toot 🙂

Nach einer 10-monatigen Mastodon-Eingewöhnung bin ich heute in mein neues digitales #digitalcourage - Zuhause umgezogen. Ich fühle mich hier inhaltlich etwas besser aufgehoben und freue mich auf viele interessante Beiträge.

Den sozialen #datenkraken - Netzwerken und Apps des Meta-Konzerns habe ich bereits vor vielen Jahren den Rücken gekehrt und versuche kontinuierlich mein Bewusstsein für digitale #selbstbestimmung weiter zu schärfen.

Interessiert an IT- #sicherheit #datenschutz #opensource - Projekten als auch #finanzpsychologie und dem #universum .

Seit einer gefühlten Ewigkeit mit #macOS und #iOS unterwegs. Zukünftig möchte ich den Umgang auch mit #linux und alternativen Android-Systemen lernen.

Ich frage mich, wann Politik, Medien und Institutionen begreifen, dass ihre Tweets auf Twitter nur von einem kleinen Kreis gesehen werden können. Sinnvoller wäre es, die kurzen Tweets endlich in Tröts umzuwandeln - die kann jeder sehen. Auch ohne Account.

I wanted to spend my day-after-vacation jumping back on Rust after working 5 months with Node.js / TypeScript, but then Gandi decided to increase their pricing and remove emails from domains in 3 months so here am I looking for a new home for my mails and domains 😫

I’ll probably end up with a mix of scaleway and infomaniak, I don’t want anything outside from EU.

Tiens bizarre les mentions concernant les boites mail incluses avec les domaines disparaissent peu à peu du site #Gandi 🤔​ Toujours aucune communication officiele, zéro communication au client. Bloquer les utilisateurs autour de leurs boites mail pour ensuite les facturer c'est petit. #NoBullshit

Nous avons un gros problème et il s'agit de l'atmosphère, croire qu'il ne provient que du rechauffement climatique est une fable.

On passe d'un pur investisseur (Montéfiore) à un groupe financier dont d'IT est le métier, il était donc évident que Gandi se fasse (à nouveau) racheter un jour.
Certes your.online n'est pas fr mais reste dans l'UE. Aussi une autre boite fr (o2switch) est déjà dans le groupe et ça a l'air de tourner.
Pour finir, Gandi reste très attaché au #NoBullshit et j'espère qu'on le prouvera à nouveau.
