We did a little patching to bridge 2 shorter LED strips today. We soldered across the pads then put hot glue on both sides and squeezed it flat with heat shrink. Now every square is filled in. Next is to work out how to increase the voltage of 3.3v from the microcontroller for the data channel that needs 5v. #LED #Soldering #Noisebridge

The power was out at Noisebridge last week. Some hacking was called for- and we delivered.

The windmill can, in theory, put out 500 watts! It's not done yet, but the project is coming along well. Come join us at #noisebridge hacker space in the Mission, San Francisco.

Cool, got some great suggestions from people of #noisebridge & #rtlsdrblog to implement the #NationalWeatherRadio (NWR) by #NWS #noaa into #CalibrateSDR so it also works in the US. @orionkidder this is rather what cyberpunk could have evolved into, but stopped because everyone got drunk on the aesthetic.

I want to step outside of the basement and show the world in the light of day, where people have lives and goals outside of "smashing the state", or "planning a run", and yet still use and shape the tech around them.
