Many probably know this but I just heard there are some quiet hair dryers on the market now. Could be useful for households where there is somebody with #soundsensitivity e.g. people with #MyalgicEncephalomyelitis, #autism, etc.

My pain levels were high today but I got study done at home, i normally prefer the library as it's quiet but today I wore earplugs and they massively helped my productivity. They aren't a long term solution though as I've eczema in my ears which makes in ear solutions difficult. I'm going to try the active noise cancelling headphones from homebase as they're the cheapest option available. #NoiseSensitivity #EasilyDistracted

I'm a little dehydrated today and a bit extra sensitive to noise/pressure on the head. So I am constantly just switching between bare ears & listening to electricity, noise cancelling headphones which hurt my head after a while and loop earplugs which also bother me after a short while 😬

When you've been managing to keep a lid on being easily irritated but then you snap.
In my case it was at my new upstairs neighbours who are annoying af with noise but I've been trying to be understanding.

Today, they were playing music loud so instead of asking them to turn it down I started singing along really loud and out of tune. It is funny BUT also it isn't. I should have handled it better and feel bad now. *sigh* #ADHD #Temper #noisesensitivity

I understand that those leave blower thingies make things easer for the people who have to clean streets & sidewalks. And the sound of those things is driving me up the wall. I can't block out sounds & white noise type sounds are one of the worst things for me. Thankfully earplugs, noiseblockers, noise cancelling headphones & ear defenders exist and are things I have access to.
