It’s also interesting that this latest #NoiseUnit album by #FLA’s #BillLeeb has more melody than #Jarre’s latest, #Oxymore. The latter has interesting elements and also the benefit of taking the writer in a new direction, but for the most part lacks some emotional impact due to a lack of melody, apart from #Epica, which is quite wonderful.

The latest #NoiseUnit by #BillLeeb is out, #CheebaCityBlues. Aurally the maestro from #FrontLineAssembly takes things in a new direction, and his undoubtedly masterful skills on the synth mix funk, jazz, dub, spacey waves and even hiphop. It's thus disappointing to hear the vocal delivery follow his standard hoarse style with lazy rhyming which has become almost a cliche of itself. I'm left conflicted, wishing I could enjoy an instrumental version or different vocals.
