I replaced the battery connector without frying the board: the #Nokia1 booted again and I used it for a while.

Desoldering the broken part was harder. I did that in Hamburg, with 4 hands and 2 soldering irons at 400 °C.

I've left 40 spare connectors in the #HelsinkiHacklab.

This #Nokia1 has seen better times, but I love that I was able to disassemble it upon first try, in less than 10 min, with just a screwdriver and my fingers. A 2 min #DIY #repair video was my manual.
