@stdevel @linmob Oh, the #NokiaN9 😢 Mine still boots but has become unusable for the internet unfortunately (certificates etc.).

I remember getting the first ever released phone they had from preorders.
After I failed to find any replacement for my #NokiaN9 — I switched to Android at some point.

#Jolla with #SailfishOS in 2014 was still (as it was unsurprisingly pretty similar to the #NokiaN9) a very different user experience to the mainstream OSes because of its gesture-based interface. Compared to the underpowered linux-based mobile phone OSes available around that time, I think Jolla felt advanced because it still had a lot of DNA from the extensive development it underwent way back in the glory days of #Nokia. As a phone it was fine, but very limited as a modern "pocket computer".

The ad for the #GalaxyZFlip4 is in heavy rotation in #bioreklam, which has been making me consider the whole #iPhone vs #android conundrum. Over the years I’ve had both, but I’ve also had others - and I mean in the #smartphone era. I have a non-mainstream phone now which I’ll get to talking about later, but my first alt-phone was a #NokiaN9 that ran #Harmattan which was an offshoot of #Maemo and/or #MeeGo Linux. Update went fine and things are working great. However I had to turn off the new #gestures after 2 days. I'm just so used to the #meego / #sailfishos implementations. Feeling nostalgic, I booted up my #NokiaN9. Still such a joy to use.
