The fate of the only wild horse herd left in #NorthDakota is in jeopardy. The #TheodoreRooseveltNationalPark is home to a historic herd of 180 wild horses who are believed to be descendants of #SittingBull 's horses and are related to the rare #Nokota breed – but the #NationalParkService (NPS) has made clear that they want to eliminate the entire #herd .
