I agree, it's clear that #NoLabels is nothing but a Republican dirty trick. Its sole purpose is to put Trump in the White House and end our democracy forever.

I share your intuition that Manchin would take more votes from Trump than from Biden. However, the (very limited) available polling suggests that No Labels may give Trump a 4%-5% boost.

With Manchin and West on his side, I think Trump is on track to win in an electoral landslide.

I don't see that happening with Trump supporters claiming that the Democrats somehow magically changed literally every indicator that was taken in 2020 that Biden won the election. I just see them repeating the central claim, that the election was rigged, like some sort of #VirtueSignal, but never talking about the evidence.

And this is where I feel like negotiation isn't possible, as much as #NoLabels and the #Centrists insist there are "two sides"...

The only thing we can really do about GOP schemes like #NoLabels that they're going to try to regain the White House and to keep their power in Congress is to get out the vote from the large amount of Americans that haven't been motivated enough to vote in post elections imo.

An often neglected huge flaw of the Electoral College is that if no presidential candidate gets a majority of the EC votes, the House selects the president by unit vote - each state gets one vote. The party with the majority in the most state delegations would get the presidency. Republicans currently hold 26 of 50 states.

To deny a majority, any third party (e.g. #NoLabels) would have to win the popular vote in enough states.
We need national popular vote.
