Well hello there...

A visitor to my garden this year as it has grown and thrived. This little guy was so close too. Even let me feed him some chicken.

Kookaburras are beautiful birds. You can hear their laughter echoing around all parts of Australia. The blue feathers are a rather spectacular feature of these birds.

But they're not as kind as one thinks. They eat meat and as such small mammals or even baby birds can be on the menu. They're just a reminder that not matter what, if it's Aussie, it can do damage.

Red dirt, blue skies and #lavender bushes humming with #bees.

A Lavender farm in #Tasmania. I spotted at least four kinds of bees. Spent the entire day walking up and down the rows, my boots covered in red soil. I won't lie, my dress was specifically shosen to match the flowers and I snapped some fantastic pics.

Interesting fact. This lavender farm produces some of the purest lavender oil in the world due to the isolation of the plants and lack of cross breeding from other lavender species.

It feels like an #Aussie fairyland, the red dirt mixing ith these purple flowers. I wanted so badly to make flower crowns with the flowers.

While, I normally prefer to stick to #rewilding and #nolawn kind of gardens for myself, this is was a lovely sight to appreciate.

And I really, really liked seeing all the bees. Green ones, blue ones, red ones, gold ones. Saw them all. It made me giddy.
