@oakwhisper @graham_freeman Did someone say tipi? :) We really miss ours, a 20-ft one made by Jeb and Harry, then with #Nomadics Tipi Makers. The tipi was thanks to our late father. After many years, the cover was slashed one winter by high-wind storms. When the tipi needed replacing, we just couldn't do it ($). A very dear gent, Matt Weston of #BigSur, came and took it down for us, which is a story in itself. <3

We'd still love to have a tipi again and have so many sweet memories of gatherings, and solo times, in our tipi.

Here's our daughter, then about three. You can see our tipi in the background. It was originally out in the pasture, but we moved it to our backyard after a few years, for fire prevention reasons (including some tall eucalyptus nearby). Having it close to the house made it easier for carrying out grandmother's china, etc. for some of the many special gatherings. Now you got us started; we'll add a memory from our tipi by our friend Sandi.
