An older article, and still relevant. One of the reasons I gravitate toward post-modernism and pluralism is due to how our human systems are rife with bias, bigotry, and prejudice. While I do not want to see science burned to the ground, I certainly do want to see it rehabilitated from its roots in oppression and exploitation.
