Unusually long hot and dry spell here in Cumbria- storms have so far bypassed us. However, my mini meadow is thriving. Some of the yellow rattle is already setting seed and the knapweed is starting to flower #gardening #meadow #wildflowers #nomowjune #nowatering

Garden Update: The ways in my landlady's orchard were mowed twice in the meantime, but the meadow everywhere else grows higher and higher and looks very beautiful with the buttercups right now. Not to mention the insects buzzing around. Little paradise.
