#BookReview No One Is Talking About This

I didn't know what this novel was about before I read it, & if I did I probably wouldn't have.

I was interested in the first half as a look at the life of someone who is far too Online. I thought the way it is structured in short fragments was reminiscent of social media, especially #BirdSite. It did make addictive reading and give me that zoned out feeling from too long doom scrolling.

But the 2nd half switched to incredibly tragic family events.. while keeping the same fragmented structure.

I just didn't feel the two halves worked together.

In the end, it's just kind of.. fine. I don't think it's one I'll remember reading.
