250 000 Unterschriften konnten für die Petition von no patents on seeds gesammelt werden. Verpackt in 39 Säcken und bedruckt mit den Landesflaggen der 39 Vertragsstaaten des Europäischen Patentamtes (EPA) gehen nun symbolisch 250 000 Maiskörner aus ökologischer Züchtung für die 250 000 gesammelten Unterschriften an das EPA.

10 May 2022 / Today the European Patent Office (EPO) rejected oppositions against a patent on barley and beer granted to Carlsberg and Heineken (EP2575433). The reasons the EPO gave for the decision mean that they will continue to grant similar patents in future.
