#Paywalls are elitist and are a tool of oppression. Access to quality #journalism should not be limited to those who have the means to pay for it (not that all mainstream media is "quality journalism", not by a long shot). Kudos to The #Guardian (English), #taz (German) and #DerStandard (Austrian) for deliberately not having paywalls.

If you do find yourself stuck behind a paywall link, the easiest option, which works most of the time, is to visit

and paste in the url of the page you are trying to visit. You can even use this to view the front-page of a paywalled news site (but the links may not necessarily work).
