My second review for my #NordicFINDS23 Nordic reading month. The Birds by Tarjei Vesaas is a beautiful and touching Norwegian novella. https://annabookbel.net/the-birds-by-tarjei-vesaas-nordicfinds23

Ida Jessen's 'A Change of Time' was the best way to start my reading year. A beautifully told story about endings, new beginnings, and rediscovery of self, it's set in a rural district of Denmark in the early part of the 20th century and tells of a woman's life as she's embarking on a new phase of it.
