I developed the idea for the center with Christina Salmivalli and Andre Sourander in 2018, got a huge grant (17m€) to launch it and started INVEST in 2019. The acronym stands for “Inequalities, Interventions and the New Welfare State”. That summarizes what we do, study #inequality and develop #intervention s to tackle them in a context of different #welfarestate s, often in the context of #NordicModel and focusing on children, adolescents and young adults (no forgetting older folks either!)
