Finally got to Brainard Lake with the skinny skis for the first time this winter. It’s only an hour drive but somehow with two teens in the house every weekend moment is spoken for. The trail starts at 10000’ elevation and climbs from there, so slow going for us flatlanders. Happily there’s plenty of snow in the trees, so there should be at least another month to get out again. #NordicSkiing #Colorado #RockyMountains

I’m very, very new to #nordicskiing/#classicskiing/#cxskiing so I was snooping the leaderboards on a certain segment I did to see who got crowned— a #QOM? What is it in skiing?
It’s called a ‘CR’, which stands for ‘Course Record’.
I want to know all the terms for every sport now!
