Has anyone ever tried the #VPN solution that comes with #GoogleOne #CloudStorage plan?
I mean sure, it's not as good as some well established brands like #NordVPN, #ExpressVPN, #SurfShark etc. but then again, 2€/month is literally barely anything and it also comes with the increased storage capacity.

What #Google 's VPN lacks is location spoofing but I'm not trying to circumvent any geoblocks or things like that. Mainly interested in a basic extra layer in terms of #security on public #wifi s

ich könnte gerade ein paar Tipps bezüglich NordVPN gebrauchen. Ich habe es vor Monaten auf dem iPhoneXS installiert und es lief.

Vor kurzem habe ich es erneut installiert (auf iOS 16.5.1) und bekomme es nicht mehr zum laufen. Die App verweigert die Anmeldung bei NordVPN.
Auf Mac und iPad keine Probleme.

NordVPN ist am Ende mit seiner Weisheit. (Luschen im Service).
Hat hier jemand ähnliche Erfahrungen gemacht und kann evtl. helfen?

@Rob on the VPN thing, you can self-host a lot of them. If you have a Raspberry Pi / Arduino lying around, it's a pretty epic side project (and there are lots of tutorials online).

That being said, I travel a ton so I just go with #nordvpn
