On top of that they give me $5 off anything every month so my net is $39 a year for out of pocket delivery or a little over $3 US/month. For that $3/month someone picks my groceries & delivers them.
Today they had a promo of a 7.7kg ham for US $16.83 with $25 purchase. Fair enough, that would last me a whole long time so I got it.
Receipt shows up and Instead of $16.83 I was charged $296.47 US for that single piece of meat. The promo isn''t in their system for online orders yet.
Within 60 seconds of talking to a chat agent online, asking for a credit only of the overcharge amount, I was credited the entire $296.47 and told to have a nice day.
There is absolutely #NoReason we should have a #FoodInsecurity problem in the #USA if a store can give away almost 8kg of meat for free.
