BBC, the answer is NO! I will NOT create an account on your site.
1. it will NOT reduce your traffic because I still may "poll" pages for updates
2. it WILL COST YOU MONEY because YOU will have to rent space to store my credentials and hire people to keep them confidential
3. it will NOT benefit me logging in to see the same content I see anonymously
