Lady of the Night (1925), a 1925 silent film starring Norma Shearer. She plays two roles (inevitably a good girl and a bad girl). A good low-key subtle romantic drama. Worth seeing if you want to know why Norma Shearer was such a big deal.

And yes, that’s Joan Crawford as Norma Shearer’s stand in/body double. You can see the differences here. The first picture is both Norma- they probably shot her in full wardrobe&make up in each space individually and basically taped them together. The Second has Joan as the Norma on the left.
