I woke up feeling bleh and unmotivated. Getting out of bed was difficult. Getting dressed even more so. But I've managed to drag myself to water some plants before getting myself dressed, go grocery shopping, have breakfast, and right now I'm transferring 8,000 photos from my memory card to a hard drive. I've been procrastinating from doing the latter since May. 🙄 Mood is still crap but at least I'm getting some sh*t done.

This is one of my favourite photos I took on Bonaventure Island, which is part of Parc national de l'Île-Bonaventure-et-du-Rocher-Percé in #Quebec. Its colony of Northern #Gannets (116,000 strong) is the most accessible in the world. Visiting the colony was one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had in my life.

These mated pair are engaging in the act of fencing, which is what they do when a male returns to the nest.
