The founder, Ben Gilbert was a strong climber, became a surfer and was horrified by the amount of ghost fishing gear on the Northumbrian beaches, so, with his partner, they set about clearing any they find and turn it into wrist bands/place mats, which they sell. All profits go to maritime charities.
