Ok so Starfield: I’ve now managed to play it for a couple of hours. Bad points: very slow loading times and, on my machine, very stuttery action at times. Some well loved Bethesda bugs have already popped up. But I’m loving it, it’s exactly what I wanted #Starfield #NoSpoilers

I’ve heard people complain about pacing or whatever for these episodes, but it was fine for me. It was long, but I could also see how trying to speed through it all could have been more overwhelming.

I agree that some of the characters that we originally met in animated shows feel a bit “stiff” in these episodes so far; idk if that’s just due to translating between mediums, the characters being older/matured/battle-worn, or just the acting/directing. I got over it, though.

Alright Star Wars peeps, I’m going to pin this thread of my non-spoiler-y Ahsoka thoughts. You can look here for my latest thoughts over the next seven weeks. :)

apparently the #TaylorSwift subreddit enforced a #nospoilers policy for her 'Eras' tour, e.g. 'don't spoil the surprise of the #NewOrder cover.' it's weird but useful to be reminded that a charming bantamweight singer-songwriter was so massively important to a whole generation of children that her monstrously overpriced nostalgic-presumption concert series has ritual significance.

That's fine, this episode is about the characters!
The songs are an amazingly effective means of transporting knowledge abt feelings / motivation of the characters.
The episode sets a lot in motion, it is relevant.
What has been revealed will be important for the episodes to come.
