I'm geeking out over the knowledge that #NotePlan and #Obsidian can indeed work together!!

I've been told people are only being offered a 7-day trial instead of the promised 4 weeks with my #Setapp link. I'm looking into that, and will update when I hear back. As far as I know, this link *will* give you the full month:

@markmcelroy #NotePlan is another like that.
I find very few software subscriptions worth paying; there are usually good options for one-time payment or free. In #PKM especially, a subscription feels like the use of my data is being held hostage.

I did pay for #Bear before I discovered #Obsidian, but it was $15 *a year*. To be fair, I’m paying more than that for Obsidian Sync, but I like knowing that even if I stopped I wouldn’t lose access to the app and my ability to manage my data with it.
