As you may remember we DM'd a week ago. As a #linux user, we're struggling to locate where '#Notes' are stored for the #Tokodon application. Is there a page anywhere online where we can learn about that? We've tried intuitive locations, such as the '.local' and other folders but to no avail.

Two days ago #Google popped up a notice in #Notes that new notes would have bold/italic/etc in new notes, then extending later to old notes. Made a new note and it worked. Looked back today, and the formatting is gone from that note, and the formatting buttons as well. Does #Google get anything right these days?

Apropos of nothing at all, the Obsidian (notes) app is pretty fantastic these days. If you what you want is a directory (tree) full of plain-text files as markdown-formatted text, don’t mind .md as the extension, and want a great app with flexible syncing and formatting and themes and a very active community…well it has all of those.

I used it when it was young and wasn’t convinced. Now, it’s just great.

#question of the day I take #notes in #Obsidian as I #read. Sometimes I note funny things people say, other times it is some historical background, when it comes to #tech #books, it's usually mainly practical.

I tend to take fairly copious notes - which is great, but also annoying. When I look back over my notes I want to see what I need to know at the moment and not necessarily the rest of it.

I'm curious, is anyone aware of a way to set tags on specific bullet points in an Obsidian doc?

Est-ce qu’il existe un moyen simple de convertir une page #Notion en #Notes d’apple ? Les exports markdown et HTML ne marchent pas foufou. Et comme Notion devient vraiment une usine à gaz j’aimerais trop changer d’outil, mais vraiment la flemme de tout recréer :(

Уже не первый раз в разгорах со закомыми сталкиваюсь с мнением, что как-то тяжеловато стало читать социалки. Мол, слишком дофига всякого сыпется в ленту и мозг устает.

Я для себя проблему решил довольно простым тупеньким способом.
У меня уже давно в каждой крупной социалке типа твиттера или инсты есть два аккаунта.

Первый - только с друзьями и знакомыми. Апдейтов, как правило, немного и всё интересное.
А второй - для всяких мемасиков, фоточек, уроков английского и прочей ерунды. И вот туда я захожу ну типа раз в месяц (а то и реже).

И сразу так спокойно и тихо стало :)
