The extent of what public funding is doing today is “Oh, looks like you’ve got some alternative functional, let’s pay you to add Feature X to it.”

Now that I'm thinking about it, Imma try calling my potential #NotForProfit recipients and see if they'll agree to #NotSellMyInformation in return for a #donation.
