Back in the 90’s when i was In my early 20’s I worked retail and a coworker friend told me about how whenever he needed extra money when he was 18-20ish he’d go to a certain bar in east Pasadena that moneyed upper class women of a certain age and young men without money would frequent to meet each other. A memory certainly unrelated to the tictoc vid mentioned in the previous post.

Saw a thing on tictoc talking about the perfect bar to get yourself a sugar daddy and I wasn’t sure if it was a joke or real and wondered why the bar looked so boring, then realized it was a straight bar and the target audience for the video was not twinks but rather young women. Still not sure it was real or a joke about the average age of the bar.

First book, must read. Period.

Second book, pretty great, I didn't get the ending though.

2010 British tv shows, pretty fun, close to the book in terms of feel. They threw in a few #NotGay moments for no reason, but it was 2010; who cares. The budget was just too small to make it look good.

2016 tv series, Dirk's abilities are more supernatural than the books. VERY fun though! Bart is the best character and steals the show, IN MY OPINION. :ablobcatbongo:
