I received today this very beautiful book from Chacruna which contains my chapter on the carried out in 1960 by a French doctor on two homosexual teenagers. These "shock therapies" aimed to disrupt the "patients" so violently that they would become heterosexual.

I am very proud to have a chapter published in this important book which will be launched on December 08, notably under the direction of the anthropologist Bia Labate. My contribution will study homosexual conversion therapies performed in 1960 on two French teenagers, 15-year-old Michel and 18-year-old Bernard, with huge doses of LSD (800 μg) and mescaline (1400mg).
