I thought I had a #notification from someone saying "Disconnected"

Seemed kind of sinister.

It was just a notification from #Linux telling me the computer was disconnected from the internet.

Today was the first day #ever I had a #package I ordered #return to #sender ...

I didn't get a #notification #card in my #postbox and couldn't be bothered

I may have to stop using #Tumblr because it has a #notification that won't go away. Clicking on the blog that the notification is from shows no activity, but the notification remains.

It's possible that deleting my Tumblr blog might clear the notification? But I think I'd rather leave my blog up and just never look at Tumblr again.

Is there a way to change the #Mastodon #notification #sound?

A trend I’m noticing is that I seem to wait to properly #edit posts until I see them pop up in my #notification feed. Yes I actually re-read them when people react/respond. It’s then I notice the errors. 🤣

In part I think it’s in keeping with one approach to #journaling, to let the words flow without interrupting to edit. But it’s #sloppy too. I’m torn. But for now I’ll just note it. I’m curious if others use this sort of flow for their writing/journaling

Nachdem in #eduBW erfreulicherweise die #push #notification wieder funktioniert muss ich mich auch wieder mit der #App befassen.

Dabei ist mir wieder die nervige Anzeige ungelesener Nachrichten eingefallen.

Ich schreibe als Admin oft an alle User:innen im System. Danach bleiben dann irgendwelche Nachrichten als ungelesen markiert und ich habe keinen Überblick, ob sich wirklich ein User bei mir gemeldet hat.

Gibt es Ratschläge dazu?
