Can anyone more familiar with above topics help me understand what’s going on here?

I thought that NotificationCenter Combine-based and AsyncSequence-based API-s behave exactly the same. Now I hit a case where they don’t. Their behavior differs based on whether I give it the sending object or not.

So far, short of the #NotificationCenter bug, I'm starting to love being able to drive this phone with the Humanware NLS eReader. Even connecting to the iPhone is easy and works every time, which is more than I can say for the Orbit Braille displays. There's never been a consistent way to connect with the phone on that stupid thing.

Gadget Meistress, in #iOS16.3, #BrailleDisplay Users will still be experiencing this #NotificationCenter bug where chord dots 46 will cause the display to get stufck at beginning of notifications or time, and you have to touch the phone screen to force it to change focus, then it will work again.
