I wish there was a way to turn off the #AI option in #Notion.

I am never EVER going to use #NotionAI and it's really annoying and intrusive the way it pops up every time I type something.

So, #Notion has jumped on the #AI bandwagon. Considering the ethical issues I have with LLMs in general, I'm very reluctant in using it. Actually, I'm not even sure I like an AI reading, storing, and analysing data I write there as part of Notion for me were personal journaling.
I can't find any proper writing on it. Does anyone know exactly how #NotionAI works, which datasets it uses, and how your data are stored and managed?

I've been using #ChatGPT for ideation and inspiration a lot over the last few weeks and have grown to really appreciate it.

But I'm also a hardcore #Notion user, so this morning I started looking at #NotionAI, and it's also incredibly impressive.

AI assistants like this are definitely the future and something that writers, creators, marketers, etc. should embrace.

It's not a replacement for your job. It's a tool to be leveraged.

@gemstar I took #NotionAI on a test drive today. Fed in my own fictional story and asked for improvements. The first try came back with the message that my text contained hateful content and could not be processed. I asked AI what the problem was and got the reply that there were no issues in the text. Re-processed and got a full response. Teething troubles.

Talking about AI... I did try #NotionAI last night... And for my purposes, it's a ChatGPT killer all the way.

Actually, I might be a little bit scared of AI technology after giving it a shot.

I really like #Notion and I use it a lot (and have recommended it to quite a few people) but their upcoming #AI feature is horrifying - like the internet really needs more bogus content created by biased algorithms and presented as fact.

And what has the #NotionAI been trained on? Is it the content of Notion users? Because I didn't give permission for that - I wasn't even asked.
