…now doing some of the most complex engineering I’ve ever done—on my own, learning things as needed a lot faster than most people seem to and a lot of it by deep intuitions from decades of building and talking to machines that wind up getting affirmed by what I do read. It’s fun to still have things working upstairs even as the guy in the mirror looks noticeably older than he once did.

I really want to keep that. for me, thank you very much. //

As I evaluate your interest in me possibly spending a few hours providing some real content about why you should say some ready thoughts might be worth sharing. Like my motivations for doing this.

Let me be perfectly frank about something, as you would expect of someone who can bench press in the top 5% of their age/sex ranking (certainly not me!) or has a knack with groups of people (ha!) or makes a living from their looks (ha!). All of those people should be… 1/

There are two major issues, he says. “Endothelial damage (all your blood vessels are being damaged and trash is clogging shit up.) Mitichondrial aging. Energy production sucks.
The virus seems to have settled into your tissues and continues to create destruction under stress.”

He’s not doing great, personally. Here’s a link to a Reddit thread asking people to describe their “brain fog” (i.e., “damage”) where he describes his.

Just say if you possibly can. That’s the message my exhausted, cynical, and angry—but still never-infected wants to impart to the handful of you who care. As does this PhD professor of medicine (physiology) who asked me to share his story after 34 months of . He’s disabled now.

“Still have a mind though, as cloudy as it I'd. I used my background and training to find peer reviewed studies that shed light on why this virus is so debilitating…” 1/2

Starting a series of posts with the hashtag which you may follow if you want to think about something disturbing and terrifying but also pretty damn important, with this screenshot of something I came across in five minutes on Elon’s fash playground.

I have a lot to say about this and the public health catastrophe that mass with the virus is causing. But I’ve spent too much time shouting into the void about it.

If you’re interested, you know what to do.

tag is an attempt to get some people thinking about a critically important and yet criminally neglected and ignored public health catastrophe with whatever undamaged neurons they’ve got left. You can read about it in academic papers that never get discussed fairly or fully outside a very narrow group of people. And you can learn about it, tragically, from hundreds of stories by people with if you care to listen.

I have.
