I skipped the work Xmas party on Friday - there was much running around in the rain with no masks in evidence, combined with drinking and partying.

At least on person who was there isn’t at work Monday because Covid. A bunch more off work with “Colds” - which could be down to post COVID immune weakness, or just running around in the rain all day.

I feel guilty for feeling pleased to be proved right.

En route I realised I had forgotten my mask. No worries, there’ll be a pharmacy in Tawa, right? Well, yes, but it was closed due to staff sickness (that note was next to a sign saying please wear a mask because of COVID spikes in Tawa; not definitely related, but I inferred they might be)

Managed to get a couple of masks from the people moving.

I don’t think this thing is done yet.
