Just went to a youth board meeting at #NottinghamPlayhouse . I'm still pretty quiet there but it's really nice to be around a bunch of folks from all different backgrounds being passionate about #theatre and the role a theatre building can play for a community, outside of just theatre, when we have function rooms, foyer space, outdoor space etc.

So good to watch #AChristmasCarol again on BBC4. I got to see it live at #NottinghamPlayhouse before it headed to London so this brought back some memories. It's a pretty faithful adaptation considering the limitations / opportunities of a theatre stage. There are a number of versions available at the moment on streaming sites. It's almost like we need people in power to learn a lesson from it...
