Yeesh. Regardless of the merits of the study, this is extremely poor framing, especially a #science #journalism article, as it's really just asking if #fusional #languages specifically are correlated with environment.

The Chief #commercial officer of #IBM was just on #cnbc talking about “IT spend.” Is it really too much effort to add an “ing” and use the correct #gerund form? Maybe standard #English #usage is no longer a core skill in #businessschool

One writer uses -ance for all (e.g. "agreeance", and isn't that painful). Author of the current bedside reading has a related problem with adjectival forms, as in "educative material". I wonder what spellchecker they're using?

But I have that trouble everywhere -- more #nouns & fewer #pronouns please!

I get that they’re a big discoverability tool here but, like, who is really opening up the search tab and saying “Let’s see what’s happening on the #Arrogance tag today!”
