- π€ My Thoughts: It's a bit too fruity for me, but what I have enjoyed with this bean is figuring out the right grind size to fit the flavor profile. I notched down to a finer grind and it really helped balance the cup.

La ConvenciΓ³n is a medium-roast coffee that brews an acceptable espresso shot but it's not my favorite in a latte - It has an interesting flavor profile of almond and apple.
I need to try it as a pour-over as I think it would be better that way.

Black Cat Espresso from Intelligentsia
Origin: Colombia/Brazil
Black cat is one of my favorite espresso blends. I like it so much I have a subscription from their website. They send me fresh beans monthly.
The is a medium roast coffee from Brazil/Colombia and it has a sweet red crema and pulls a beautiful shot that works very well in a latte. It tastes of chocolate and brown sugar with a nice sweetness.

#nowbrewing Anodyne Coffee's Mind Tonic Espresso from Milwaukee
Origin: Central / South America
This is a medium roast coffee with definite notes of toasted almonds. I do get a little chocolate too but no cherry flavor. It's a good roast but not my favorite. It makes a great espresso shot with tan crema. I need to try it with a pour over. For a latte I find it not as good as Black Cat or Vivace's Vita (my favorites).
Last night I made some shu from a brick I bought in the 90's. I was expecting some nice mineral flavors, but not actual minerals. I want a refund! πΉ
Those little stones must have been well hidden in a chunk of leaves. I do miss the older style of shu, but I don't miss routinely finding stones in my tea
