Full props to #NowBroadband. Signed up to #Giganet last week (installed on Monday).
Called Now this morning expecting the usual cancellation hassle. Person was lovely and offered a cancellation of 24 hours instead of the standard 30 years.
Spot on service.
In other news. We are looking to leave our current broadband provider.
Currently on #NowBroadband and paying a reasonable £20/mth for 67mb
However they’ve recently laid full fibre out around us so today I’ve signed up with #Giganet for their 900mb service for £40/mth (and 3 month free)
All being well it’ll be installed on Monday 🎉
Hmm. A bit weird. Tried to sign up with #NowBroadband but it crashes out when I put my mobile in with a "something went wrong; please call us" message. Tried #SkyBroadband instead (I know, same company); I get a technical error message after first form.
Is there a problem at Sky just as I'm trying to switch providers, or something weird about my mobile number that might cause an issue? I really do not want to call them.
Will try again tomorrow, but otherwise might have to go back to #Plusnet.

One for UK peeps: anyone got experience of #NowBroadband for #FTTC broadband? It’s time to switch and their prices look good, along with a 12 month contract. Always a bit wary of online reviews which slate them (people love to moan), so looking for realistic opinions.
I’ll be switching from #BTBroadband, which has given solid performance - 71mbps down, 20mbps up. Am I likely to see a speed drop with a budget provider? Not too worried about WiFi performance - just the actual internet connection.
