I knew Scorcese's "New York, New York" wasn't thought of as one of his best movies, but I did not know it was 3 hours long. It has good parts, but doesn't really hold together as a whole. I dunno if Bob De Niro was right, or believable, in the role as an abusive philandering musician, though nice to see him pretending to play a vintage Conn tenor, instead of the usual Selmer...

Saturday night's movie adventure was Ek Tha Tiger with Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. As shootemup action adventure with a distinctly James Bond feel, it was absolutely perfect. There were also (as in Pathaan which takes place in the same agency and has an *excellent cameo from Tiger) two super-goofy dance numbers. Looking forward to Tiger Zinda Hai (and coming soon: Tiger 3!).
