Hell hath no fury like longtime users of this platform (esp. white, esp. dude) when someone (esp. not white, esp. not dude) suggests the slightest, most informal change.

I like a lot of things about this place. It's why I'm here. But the gatekeeping is nuts. It's also limiting this place's potential at a time when a lot of people on other platforms are looking for a place to land.
